Acrylic paints, when wet, break down easily, creating a flaking effect. After finishing each painting, my palette gets cleaned by being filled with water, and left overnight. This gives the hardened paint remnants time to soften, creating this beautiful flaked look. Each paint palette image is completely unique, never to be replicated.
