Inspired by Fantasy Reef off the coast of Fiji. I learned to scuba dive in Fiji in 2016 and we visited some of the most pristine reefs in the world. Fantasy Reef being one of them. Covered in carpet anemones, gregorian fan coral and more brightly colored fish than you can imagine. That experience was deeply influential and I wanted to reflect the fantastical nature of that dive in my work.
